Description

On 26 October of this year, the Palace of Versailles was one of the first French sites to be placed on the UNESCO World Heritage list, along with Vézelay, Mont Saint-Michel, Chartres Cathedral and the prehistoric cave paintings in the valley of the Vézère.

Personal story

The family came to visit Versailles in 1979. One of my cousins was also there. Here, my sister Camille was one year old. My father took it, he was always the one who took the pictures. We came out from Paris to visit from time to time.

I love the disproportional effect caused by the framing between the Palace in the background and my sister.
