Personal story

I live near Versailles now, but my first visit was back in 1996. When I have a little time, or, as was the case here when I was waiting for my daughter, I come for a stroll at the Palace, which I adore. Photography is my passion; I always have a camera with me. I take pictures and then I rework them at home, over long periods of time if necessary. I post my pictures on the Internet to inspire other photographers.

When I look at this photo, I see a different era. I imagine that the forest may have existed. I hide in a quiet corner with few passers-by. I dream that this couple could be Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette. I come to this spot because it stimulates my imagination.

I’d love to come to the Hall of Mirrors when nobody is there to take some pictures.
