I was walking in the park of the Palace with my friend Josette. I lived near Versailles, and I often came for a stroll. We were both students in 1955. As we were walking by the North Parterre, two visiting tourists, a Mexican and a Scotsman, asked to take a picture with us. I took the camera and Josette posed between the two men in front of Giovanni Battista Foggini’s Rémouleur statue.
