J’étais déjà venue la première fois en voyage scolaire en 1977 mais là, c’était notre première visite en famille. Un ami a pris cette photographie devant le Château : je pose avec mon mari Dominique et nos trois filles, Pauline, Claire et Sophie. Je voulais absolument revenir car j’ai une adoration pour les châteaux et celui de Versailles tout particulièrement. Nous avons profité d’un week-end prolongé pour venir de Nantes rendre visite à nos amis de Sèvres et visiter le Château et ses jardins.

We took this picture in front of the South Parterre during my third visit to Versailles. With Dominique, my husband, and our three daughters, Sophie, Claire and Pauline. We had come to see friends in Sèvres and we took advantage of the Fountains Show, so we only visited the gardens this time.
My passion for the Palace has not waned. I continue to come regularly, notably when I was given an annual pass. I was able to bring my sister for the first time and I saw an exhibition with my friend from Sèvres. I learn more by reading biographies. I don’t know where my passion for châteaux comes from.
